Portrait Photography: Early Works 2006-2014
Portraiture that listens to place. The subject is not isolated but held within the spaces that shape their thinking and work in studios, streets, offices, landscapes. Often inspired by the quiet observation of Wim Wenders, each image becomes a dialogue between person and environment, where filmmakers, directors, CEOs, creative entrepreneurs, communication experts, and models appear as part of a larger atmosphere rather than apart from it. All photography by Bart Dykstra.
Summary
Over the years, I’ve worked in Amsterdam, Belgium, and the UK on portraiture photography for a variety of magazines, capturing filmmakers, directors, CEOs, creative entrepreneurs, communication experts, and models in their studios, offices, streets, and landscapes.
