Summary
Fortune 500 clients including Nike, Amazon, Philips, Deloitte, and Decathlon embed data visualizations directly into their public annual reports. I designed data visualization systems to serve Datamaran’s clients, translating complex corporate data into legible narratives for executives, investors, policymakers, and the public.

Problem statement
Over the past 12 years, Fortune 500 companies faced increasing pressure to communicate complex corporate data including financials, risk metrics, supply chain performance, and sustainability targets in ways that executives, investors, policymakers, and the public could understand.
Since 2014, when the EU Non-Financial Reporting Directive (NFRD) made sustainability disclosure mandatory for large companies, investor expectations shifted from basic financial data to comprehensive non-financial risks and financial or impact monitoring. Annual Reports were published globally, visible to investors, analysts, regulators, and the broader market.
The data existed, but translation into legible narratives required deliberate design systems. Without clear visual communication, complex corporate data became noise rather than insight.
